On the 10th anniversary of our founding, Sharing The Love Foundation proudly honored Kaufman County community leader and lifetime education advocate Lee Holbert by establishing the Lee Holbert Legacy Scholarship Fund.
Mr. Holbert dedicated his life encouraging others to pursue their dreams. He firmly believed higher education afforded opportunities for youth and young adults to succeed, and supported programs that would ensure their success.
Lee was a passionate advocate for adult education, equality for all, mental health awareness and a great champion of community service. He generously donated his time and financial resources to those entities and underserved individuals that needed so much.
Lee possessed the character that inspired everyone to become the best that they can be. He was unselfish in his service to the community and encouraged us to reach back and help others accomplish their dreams as well. Sharing the Love Foundation was privileged to be recipients of his knowledge, time, and financial resources with our organization. It is our esteemed honor to name our college scholarship program after man of such great integrity, wisdom, and fortitude.
