For the Love of Veterans, hosted by Sharing the Love Foundation

Event Hours: 12:00-4:00pm

Event Location: Forney Community Park (241 South FM 548 | Forney, TX 75126)

Estimated Attendance: 2,500

 

GENERAL GUIDELINES:

  • Vendors acknowledge there is no guarantee of entry with application completion. Applications must be reviewed and approved before acceptance is issued. Sharing the Love Foundation and its affiliates reserve the right to refuse an application if it is deemed inappropriate for this event.
  • While Sharing the Love Foundation will make every effort to ensure that multiple types of similar vendors are not set up at the event, vendors acknowledge there is no guarantee of exclusivity of products.
  • Vendors are required to comply with all Texas laws regarding the registering and reporting of Texas Sales and Use Tax and are responsible for reporting their earnings to the State as required by law.
  • Participants give Sharing the Love Foundation or its designated photographer permission to use images of their booths for promotional purposes of the event they are participating in.
  • As a tax-exempt, charitable organization, Sharing The Love Foundation (STL) is prohibited from participating in any political campaign on behalf of, or in opposition to, any candidate for public office. By participating in this event, you have agreed to refrain from displaying political advertising or paraphernalia.

 

FOOD VENDORS

  • Food Vendors must comply with current guidelines for food handling, have a current Food Safety Certificate, and apply for a Temporary Food Permit through the City of Forney.
  • Food vendors are required to carry General Liability Insurance. Sharing the Love Foundation or its affiliates may request proof of insurance at any time.
 

 

 

SET-UP & TEAR DOWN

  • Food Vendors will be notified a minimum of 1 week before the event with their assigned booth number and location.
  • Booth load-in will take place from 9:00 - 11:00 am. Vendors are required to be fully set up by 11:30 am.
  • No electricity will be provided. Small compact generators are welcome. Only food vendors will be permitted to bring large generators.
  • No tents, tables, chairs, or decorations will be provided. If you have any of these items, you may bring them. Tents must be properly anchored down, and all items must fit within your allotted space.
  • ALL vendors are asked to decorate their space to represent our patriotic theme.
  • All vendors will be inspected 30 minutes prior to the start of the event. The inspector has the right to ask a vendor to leave if their space is not fully set up, the space is deemed unsafe, or they fail health inspection.
  • Vendors are not permitted to begin tearing down, for any reason, before 4:00 pm. Those that ignore this rule will not be allowed to participate in future Sharing the Love Foundation events.
  • After dismantling, vendors are responsible for leaving their space clean. Please dispose of all your trash in appropriate trash receptacles. Vendors are responsible for (and agree to pay all costs of repair or replacement for) any and all damages which may have occurred during the term of the event in the space occupied by the vendor.

 

SAFETY & SECURITY

  • Vendors acknowledge this is an outdoor event and will make no claim against Sharing the Love Foundation if the event is canceled, delayed, or curtailed because of weather.
  • Vendors are responsible for the security of their materials within their space. They shall assume full responsibility for all goods, materials, exhibits, displays, articles, and other tangible personal property before, during, or after the event. Sharing the Love Foundation assumes no responsibility for said items.
  • Vendors are responsible for the security of their employees, contractors, staff, volunteers, and customers within their allotted space. They shall assume all responsibility for all injuries, liabilities, or claims before, during, or after the event. Sharing the Love Foundation takes no responsibility for said associations. 
  • Sharing the Love Foundation or its affiliates reserves the unilateral right to cause interruption of the event and cause the termination of such event if such action is deemed necessary in the interest of public safety, health, and welfare.
